01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Landlord website, the AI Landlord product, and any related resources (together, the "Service"), provided by Satori Defense. By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

02What you're buying

AI Landlord is a pre-configured assistant ("custom GPT"/prompt system) delivered as a shareable link you open inside your own ChatGPT account, along with supporting knowledge files and reply scripts. It is digital content, delivered electronically. It is not software we host, an account we manage for you, or a property-management platform. It requires access to ChatGPT (which has its own terms), works with the free tier, and its outputs depend on the underlying AI model, which we do not control.

03Educational tool — not professional advice

This is the most important section, so read it carefully.

• AI Landlord provides general information and drafting assistance only. It is not legal, tax, financial, accounting, or insurance advice, and using it does not create an attorney–client, accountant–client, or any other professional relationship.
• It is designed to route the regulated decisions to humans: it does not file legal notices, does not screen tenants, and directs eviction, fair-housing, and tax filings to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
• Landlord–tenant law varies by state and locality and changes over time. You are responsible for confirming anything important with your own attorney, CPA, insurer, or licensed contractor before you act.
• AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete. You review and approve everything before you send a message, spend money, or take action. You are the one who hits send.

04Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and for your own rental business. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share the assistant link, knowledge files, or scripts; copy them to create a competing product; or use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or mislead anyone. Use that violates fair-housing or other applicable laws is strictly prohibited and is your responsibility.

05License

On purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AI Landlord assistant and materials for your own rental properties. We retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, including its prompts, knowledge files, scripts, branding, and copy.

06Orders, pricing & add-ons

Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. The core product is a one-time purchase. We may offer optional add-ons (order bumps and one-time upsells) and an optional recurring membership ("The Landlord Briefing"). Recurring memberships bill on the stated interval until you cancel; you can cancel anytime before the next billing date by emailing robert@satoridefense.com. We may change prices for future purchases; changes don't affect orders already placed.

07Refunds

The core product is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

08Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Satori Defense and AI Landlord will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service or any decision you make using it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it.

09Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Satori Defense and AI Landlord from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your decisions and communications with tenants, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

10Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
